First in a series of singles to drop from Timo Garcia’s artist album Wonderlust Bug is Boom, a sensational, melodic but powerful deep house number, packaged with a healthy selection of remixes from DJ Pierre, Onionz, Kid Blue & Akashic 11 that’ll have you covered for any dance floor.

I’ve absolutely loved this track since I first heard it on a Timo mix way back. It perfectly combines an overwhelming deepness with a punchy, forceful bass line. Really tasty stabs and little punches throughout. And the vocal just adds even more of the mesmerizing feel. It’s haunting and brilliant!

Then we’re onto an incredible variation of mixes, covering every base. DJ Pierre’s Afro-Acid mix has big room / warehouse written all over it, and definitely won’t disapoint in that setting. The Onionz Zenfriend mix is a full-on tech house monster too. Huge sounds, spacey reverb and a kick that could move your internal organs. Woah! The Kid Blue remix takes the track up another few notches into a crazy electro / techno vibe - more insane bleeps and stabs all intertwined with some minimal vocal inclusions. You feel high just listening to it! And last, but definitely not least Boom is rounded off with an awesome vocal, dubstep rework. Seemingly implementing a number of elements from the other remixes, the Akashic 11 remix is thrust forward by a heavy break beat, complimented by the vocal and more spacey moans, layered with stabs an claps. I’m going to hammer them all, but I might wear the grooves out on this one!
