TAA Flight 080709
Into August we go, and with this year flying by, I decided to take a bit of a look back at some older tracks from 2007 and 2008. You forget how many gems you have lying around sometimes!
Digging deep, I found a few old beauties from David Durriez’s Brique Rouge label (what ever happened to BR?!?!), a Mr V remix of the classic Roland Clark jam, Have a Good Time, plus a couple of Funk D’Void tracks on Soma that are really special. Note to self… remember the good, old tunes!
It wasn’t all nostalgia though. I played a couple of brand new cuts; one from Jesse Saunders, the Zad’s Deep Flight Remix of the super summery Weekend on Broken Records. Sun-blissed, beach-time awesomeness!!! And how could I forget the brilliant Balboa Remix of La Tromba by Chris Lake feat. LYS. Big thanks to Johnie for the heads-up on that one… Now we’re ready for the weekend!
