Grooveland Records & Gramma Rose

Grooveland Records have been on our radar for some time now. The Cardiff outfit have released some serious dance floor monsters over the years, including great success working with Hed Kandi, Sony and Def Jam among others, while featuring heavily on BBC radio 1, Kiss FM and Galaxy FM.

But the thing that has really just brought Grooveland into focus are the superb recent releases by Gramma Rose. Just this week another selection of tracks including a beast entitled Funk Unlimited arrived in our inbox. But we’re still well and truly stuck on Edit, the first track from Gramma Rose’s - Massive Ibiza EP (Part One). The EP is released on October 12th, and we’re pretty sure that, if it hits the right ears, it could become one of the tracks of the year. It’s got ‘huge DJ ripping up a massive dance floor’ written all over it! Congratulations to the Grooveland guys, and good luck with the release. You’ve got a supermodel on your hands here!

Talking of supermodels… the video is pretty cool too. Top tune, hot girl, lingerie… I think we can chalk this one up in the winners column too!
