Boys and girls, we have found your new favourite spot for music exploration! Metrogum officially launched this week, offering everything you need to know, see and hear about underground music… primarily in your local areas. The guys over at Metrogum are taking a refreshingly different approach. Gone are the tired days of highlighting more content from the commercial heavyweights (and honestly, why the hell do we need ANOTHER site showing the latest, hyper produced snoozefest?), and in its place are a fresh selection of videos, interviews, live performances, downloads, editorial and a community all focusing on music and artists from your own respective areas. It’s a seriously cool idea from creator Josh Finn, which puts the focus squarely back onto local performers and their loyal support.
Head on over to Metrogum, check out what they have to offer, and join up to share and embrace a wealth of talent from all over the world, and especially your own home town. Keep a very close eye out, and you might just see a My Cuppa T face moving his (questionable!) talents to in front of the camera!
Check it out, sign up and then let us know what you think. We already love Metrogum!
