First off… the original, as it stands is a killer tune. Lovely balance of vocal, driving kick, persistent melody and beautiful breakdown. A real house tune. But the thing that makes this release so special is the variation of remixes.

Original:

Someone once said, a great movie is something that happens when everyone is making the same film. Well, I think the same is the case with great remixes. You either have a collection of talent who all want to one-up each other, or you have a dream team who want to combine their individual talents to make one great project. Haterade is definitely the latter. We’re not sure what Andrew & George promised (or threatened!) their remix collaborators with… but these guys should be UN diplomats! The final package is a brilliantly balanced combination of deep, techy, glitchy and at times down-right filthy house music!

The first couple of remixes come from Irish based DJ & Producer Scope, who lays down a deep and grimy, bass heavy chugger, balanced nicely with the spoken word vocals. The no intro version is good if you’re heading straight for the dance floor. However the extended version is a brilliant way to start a set (if you’ve got the ammo to keep that vibe going all night)!

The Fingermonsters mix adds a lively, spacey element to the package. Big reverb and echos in the breakdown, compliment the fullness of the track when in full swing. BIG!

Finally, if it’s 4 to the floor, glitchy, tech your after then the Bass Cadet & Eric Sharp mix is the one. Twisted and freaky, with a seriously tough, tech edge. Naughty!

Congratulations to Prismatic for a top release, with a mix for every setting. You’re too kind… and as I result - i’ll be slamming this track for months to come!
