Traktor Launches The Kontrol X1

We try and remain as impartial as possible when it comes to the digital vs analogue debate, but that’s in no way to say we don’t embrace both! Vinyl will always be our first love, but the digital toys (the ones we remember fearing would limit our creativity - ha!) are just getting better and better. Today’s creativity and opportunity for advancement in set structure is simply limitless, and we are pleased as punch to see what it’s doing for the music we’re hearing.

This Christmas there are quite a few new gems to feast your eyes on. But beware, they may also induce a serious dent in your January funds!

The one unit that really caught my attention was the Traktor Kontrol X1. Now I’m an avid Traktor user - I love the interface, I love the control vinyl, i love the touch and feel of the entire system. So when Traktor introduced a brand new DJ controller, supplying on-the-fly looping, syncing and effects in addition to the incredible track manipulation technology, I really need to take a second look.
