Beardyman… Beatbox Brilliance At Bestival!

You all know by now how much we like something a little bit different!?!? Well, unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to visit Bestival this year, but we hear Beardyman was one of the feature performers, and definitely an artist that brought something a little out there to the festival proceedings!

Beardyman is the human beat boxing phenomenon, who’s been taking stages and dance floors by storm with his incredible vocal talents. Below is a snippet from his Bestival performance that should amaze and intreague you…

We think the best way to introduce this would be in Beardyman’s own word, so here you go…

“So like, i did camp bestival and it was like really great cos there were like all these people and stuff and i like blew loads of raspberries… i like blowing raspberries… that’s abbreviated from the english cockney rhyming slang “raspberry tart” meaning “fart”. i fart out of my mouth. and people cheer… i’m not sure why but i like it… i think i’ll carry on… but i might burn out in 5 years and fake my own death and run away to a Buddhist retreat and take a vow of silence… what do you think?”

We think he’s the next mad genius of the music world… Bonkers but truly brilliant too!
