Ok, ok… i admit it. The CheckPoint enigma code isn’t that tough to break. It’s all about making me dance and smile while I feel a beat coursing through my veins and pounding on my chest. Well, that’s not all, but it’ll get you pretty close to one of my set lists.

Now, if you can add a litte ‘throw-back’ cool into the mix, then we’re looking at A+ potential. A few weeks ago it was Miss Mee’s Rythm is our Business, but I’ve found a new top-scoring, guilty pleasure! In addition to his amazing Wonderlust Bug Remix package (released late last year) Timo Garcia has just put together a bumper remix package from his amazing track; Swing Thing featuring Sam Obernik, out on Nervous Records now! The tune is one of the stand out tracks on Wonderlust Bug, and these new remixes, featuring the blissful vocals of Sam Obernik take it to the next level. I’ve heard and been playing a variety of the mixes out over the last month, and I think with a little luck it will be one of the BIG Miami tunes this year.

This is where is all begins. Huge, funky kick line, classic instrumentation and that all round swing sound, laced with Sam’s super-cool vocal.

Analog People In A Digital World Remix:

Here’s where the track takes a turn for the later dance floors. A little techy, and all built around a bleepy foundation. Sam’s vocals get a spacey tweak. The track maintains most of its organic nature, but there’s a sleeping devil in there somewhere!

Jenkinsound VIP remix:

Last in the package is a crazy Drum & Bass version that is simply brilliant. It’s packed with energy, abundantly laced with Sam’s vocals again and trippy as hell!

The package really has something for everyone, so find you’re poison and get it in your next set!
