WMC Comes To Your Office?

We’ve been rocking away to the sounds of the Winter Music Conference all week, thanks to the incredible live broadcasts on Be@Tv. The video and club community website has been transmitting live from a selection of stand-out events across Miami, in addition to their fine archive of recorded sets from around the world.

The site is a real progressive step for video presentations in clubs, offering not only the ‘raver’ perspecive, but often 2 static cameras in the DJ booths, so that all of us trainspotters can check out exactly what the DJ is up to. These broadcasts are becomming increasingly popular now that performers indulge a wider variety of hardware tools to craft their sets. It’s fantastic to watch the likes of Claude Von Stroke rocking two turntables and a mixer, but it is just amazing to witness the likes of Nic Fanciulli and Way Out West up close and personal as they craft their sets with all mannor of effects units, laptops, samplers and midi controllers.
