1. Chicago (Original)
2. We R Child
3. Jus You
4. Chicago (Mat Playford’s Weird Police remix)

Official release date: April, 2010

The original mix of Chicago is just epic. Smooth strings and an incredibly catchy soul-filled vocal create a fantastic mid-tempo lead single for the EP. The strong and subtle percussion keeps this grooving along, building anticipation all the way. Live drums sounds kick off We R Child, before the deep and moody chords that Jozif is so good at come haunting through. The lead synth and keys layer and reverb around this stripped back dubby groove. Jus You serves up another cleverly sampled vocal snippet, worked in alongside a crunchy guitar and moody piano. Again, plenty of tension that peaks and releases with each powerful break and drop. Mat Playford’s remix of Chicago adds sweeping filters, funky guitar licks and plenty of squeaks and bleeps to step things up a notch. A great interpretation and addition to the original.
