A deep, bouncy bassline helps Back To New Orleans chug along, and Jores cleverly works in various jazzy piano samples to compliment the main vocal and horn hooks. Dappity Clappity steps things up a little, with more strong horns and a bubbling sub-bass, but this time a loose crunchy clap gives it some extra punch. A second horn riff comes in along with flute and further clarinets to really fill out the track and create a mass performance at a jumping party. Funk Till You Jack takes things up another notch, into techy late night territory. Industrial clinks and short plucky stabs take the lead, and a different, this time jagged sax riff is layered with a smooth rap vocal. The EP is completed with a remix from JMC, who takes the vocal and sax lines and lays them over a smooth rolling bass groove. He also slides in shuffling chicago-style percussion to give Funk Till You Jack a smoother chunkier vibe; likely to be a hit with fans of Inland Knights and the like.
