Ah, the World Cup and house music… there’s few better combinations in life! Super excited this week for the start of the competition, and there was plenty of chatter over on My House Your House during the show all about England (and America’s) chances this time around. It’s party-time in the CheckPoint household this weekend too - watching the big England v USA game on Saturday, then out to the pool for some rocking beats in the sun.

This week’s Trans-Atlantic Airwaves was the perfect warm-up for that action, road testing some monster new tunes. Big thanks to old friend Jaycee (Nutownproject) for a great new release on Sculpture Records, plus of course the usual suspects who provided some beauties like DJ Skunk - Into the Light on Full Flavor, Hawke’s amazing Monday Comes And Goes Remixes on Eighth Dimension and the amazing Timo Garcia for his rework of Danny Howells’ Too Far Gone.
