A show of new, new and a bit more new this week! New toys in the form of a Traktor update from the old Scratch platform to the pro software, which is simply superb. I’ve been rocking the old format for a few years, and never really saw the need to upgrade, but holy smoke am I glad I did! It’s taking a little getting used to, but there are so many new effects and the it’s just a whole lot more stable - I’m really looking forward to getting to grips with it fully and taking it along to my gigs.

Of course, a wealth of new tunes too, especially from the fantastic Sculpture Records in the form of their 2 Summer Samplers, featuring tracks from Matt Heize, Steve P, Gentle Fred and more. I also rocked the new Kaato release Cumbuco by head man Bjorn Wilke himself which is a sunshine, pooltime spectacular and a half! And I rounded things off with Mark Farina’s new That’s How release on Great Lakes Audio and Yolanda Be Cool + Dcup’s We No Speak Americano, that I’m just addicted to!
