We’ve found a few pretty cool turntable emulators recently, but these 2 really seem to have tickled parts of us that other controllers just couldn’t reach! First we found the multitouch-enabled rig built by Gregory Kaufman that looks absolutely stunning, but has a few inherent issues (including slightly dubious EQ and volume controls) that could condem it to a position of a pretty executive toy and little else. But hey, when something looks this pretty you can forgive it for not being able to do the ironing.

Then our old buddy Jafar pointed our amourous eyes towards the unbelievably beautiful Tracktor Pro Emulator on a huge multi-touch screen…
As we’re all Traktor DJs over here in the My Cuppa T office, this one strikes a particularly harmonious chord. It definitely takes the prize being effectively ready to roll, via integration into currently available software; you just need the monsterous touch-screen! OK, so it’s probably still a little out of all of our price ranges, but it’s got us thinking about what we could be controlling in a few years (well, maybe a decade or two!) and we’re officially excited!
