After taking an absence from the last show we are back with a lot of material some new some that I was going to play on the last broadcast.

New releases are represented by an awesome remix by Kraak & Smaak of Max Sedgley’s “Sound Boy” feat Tor Cesay. Also new Neck-brace by DC’s Ratatat off their new album LP4 on XL, French outfit Logo “La Vie Moderne” on Kitsune the original thumping mix of “Gonna Be Alright” by Andre Crom & Martin Dawson. Brilliant South African producer Troydon’s “Tenderly” gets remixed by Pepe Bradrock, New music from Chilly Gonzalez, “I Am Europe”, Chilly also holds the record for playing the longest ever piano solo, he was clocked at 27 plus hours in Paris a few years ago, how about that for trivia!

We also featured radical poet & novelist Carl Hancock Rux’s “Asphalt  Yards” which refers to his critically acclaimed novel “Asphalt” which is about an expatriate DJ who returns from Paris to a post-apocalyptic New York City.

Blues is represented by legend RL Burnside’s “Someday Baby” wonderfully re tooled by Lyrics Born, what a perfect match!
