1) I Am So Right
2) Waster
3) Not Alone

Official release date: November 1st, 2010

I Am So Right kicks off the 70th release, and in style, too. Chugging 80s-style bass riff and rattling electronic percussion introduce the track nicely enough, when an insanely catchy vocal loops in and grabs the attention. Supplemented by unusual stabs and stammering organ riff, the track builds and breaks in the right places, forming a typically strong Knights groove and structure. Next up, Waster has obvious dub influences, with offbeat keys, classic drum rolls and Carribean vocal samples scattered throughout. A solid sub bass further supports the overall feel of the track, whilst still making it a killer house track. Not Alone takes things on a moodier vibe, with the walking bassline hitting various minor notes on it’s stroll. The accompanying drums are short, sharp, tight; with a metallic sound and somewhat industrial feel. The moody vibe is emphasised with quirky synth stabs, but still retain typical Knights smoothness. The warped and stuttered female vocal is downright eerie, and yet everything gels together and balances as a great alternative vibe on the EP. Overall, this EP is a perfect example of keeping a solid, recognisable style whilst pushing into different influences and developing a unique and varied release.

Standout Track: I Am So Right.
